Although I've been known to drop a typo or two in my day, the title of this journal ain't no muthasuckin' typo! Imaginary high five to you if you get reference. If you don't, that's okay. Just imagine me nude riding a bucking horse in a field of flaxen wheat as the sun sets and forms a gorgeous purple horizon. That's the image I'm trying to conjure with this journal title.

But I digress. Onto the self-promotion!!!

This weekend, I'm going to the Small Press Expo in Bethesda, MD. I'm making the trek to our nation's (sorta) capitol with Ross Campbell. Big ups to Ross for going out of his way to scoop me up here in Pittsburgh. (BTW -- in case you were wondering -- Pittsburgh's not an island... Ross thought it was...)

With me at table D5 (the "A" half of the table to be exact), I'm going to have tons of my comics, including some oldies and some newsies. Wait... I didn't mean newsies. I won't have any adolescent boys who sell newspapers for a living and break out into spontaneous song. I meant newbies. Whoops.

Anyway, I'm gonna have new shit. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete my painting in time. What painting, you ask? A painting of me nude riding a bucking horse in a field of flaxen wheat as the sun sets and forms a gorgeous purple horizon, of course.
